Youth in 3d Printing

What is Youth in 3D Printing?

Youth in Printing (YIP) is a long term goal thought of by Luke Jewell and Landon Kitto to get youth involved, supported, and represented in the 3D printing business. We want to run camps and events for any kids where they learn to design and print their ideas. Also, we would like to give funding for elementary schools and to have access to 3D printers and related programs.

To achieve this goal we will be asking companies if they would like to donate or sponsor us. If you would like to donate or sponsor us, contact (720) 819-5422.

Our Goal

YIP’s goal is to get youth involved in the 3D Printing community, and support them in doing so. At YIP, we would like to give schools the chance to show their kids the fun and usefulness of printing. We believe that 3D Printing is the future of the world, and want to quicken future enhancements to the world by giving these kids a headstart on their 3D Printing career.

Why is Youth 3D Printing Important?

Youth in 3D printing exposes youth to cutting-edge technology that is rapidly changing the landscape of manufacturing. By providing these experiences, we can inspire young people to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields. According to a report from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, jobs in STEM fields are expected to grow by 8.8% by 2028. By giving young people exposure to 3D printing, we are helping to ensure that they have skills that will be in demand in the future.
